A few weeks ago, we examined some impressive homes in the Toledo area  for their overall grandiose qualities. That got us thinking. It would be worthwhile to zero in on a particular room or feature and find homes in the area that have mastered those spaces. And what better place to start than the kitchen? So much activity, conversation and family memories take place within the kitchen. It is also one of the more rewarding spaces to design, renovate and personalize to your own taste because of the various fixtures, textures and details found in this room. Here are a few of our favorite kitchens found in homes scattered throughout the Toledo region! Many are found in Perrysburg, so there must be a bountiful supply of great cooks in the neighborhood! That’s just one more thing to add to our list of reasons why we love Perrysburg.

1.) A Southern-Style Country Kitchen

The only thing better than having a kitchen island is having two islands. And that’s exactly what the kitchen in this gorgeous Southern-style custom home in Sylvania holds in store! This enormous dual kitchen space is separated by a white-washed brick wall, which hosts one of the two ovens and provides a wonderful visual pause in the room. We love the consistent color scheme throughout the entire space but particularly admire how one half of the kitchen uses a deep blue color on its open shelving. This kitchen truly is a chef’s dream!  

2.) A Classic Kitchen With Big Windows and Soft Colors

We love the distressed, off-white color on the kitchen cabinets in this beautiful home in Bowling Green complemented by a unique granite texture and a soothing green shade on the walls. Overall, this home is immaculate yet traditional, and almost looks like a castle from the outside!  

3.) A Woodsy Kitchen with Quartz Countertops

The kitchen in this woodsy home in Perrysburg has a spectacular Wolf cooktop, dual ovens, an island with quartz countertops, slate flooring and custom cabinets. But beyond the aesthetic appeal of this kitchen, we are particularly thrilled to find that this space is so open and attached to the enormous living room. This makes for a wonderful entertainment and gathering space for family and friends!  

4.) A Traditional Kitchen  with Granite Countertops and Custom  Finishes

You’ll feel as though you’ve stepped into a European estate when inside this magnificent home in Perrysburg. And the kitchen is no exception! We love the rich Cherry cabinetry, custom detailed woodwork, and the granite countertops that look like stunning works of art.  

5.) A Modern Kitchen with Oversized Island

This new construction home in Perrysburg has a wonderful open-floor-plan area, including this clean-cut kitchen with an enormous island, unique light fixtures, two ovens, and plenty of storage space in its custom cabinets and on the island itself. We're especially fond of the modern gray and white color scheme.  

6). An Open Kitchen with Plenty of Bar Seating

And here’s yet another Perrysburg kitchen we admire! This updated colonial-esque brick home hosts a simple yet well-designed kitchen. We love the stark contrast between the wooden cabinetry, the pops of white, the tile backsplash, the golden light fixtures and the charcoal gray walls. This combination of colors is done in such a particular and tasteful manner. The kitchen hosts plenty of bar seating, storage space, and countertop square footage!
